My mission is to connect European music fans to these female country superstars by performing their music live on stage.
Why only female country artists
Because women are dominating the American country charts and creating some of the most exciting music in the genre right now. And while their success continues to grow, women remain underrepresented as headliners at major festivals. By putting their music front and centre, I want to give it more attention and recognition. On a personal level, this music simply feels closest to me. I connect with the stories, emotions and perspectives in a way I don’t always connect with male country artists. That makes it possible for me to perform these songs authentically.

Across the UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Scandinavia, a new generation of country artists is reaching audiences through streaming, radio, social media and sold-out live shows. Country is reaching a new, younger and increasingly international audience across Europe. But country superstars such as Ella Langley or Lainey Wilson rarely set foot on European stages, despite a huge and passionate European fanbase.
This is exactly where I step in with New Country Queens: a high-energy modern country live act that brings the songs of these icons to European stages. From intimate clubs and theatres to major festivals and large-scale events, the show is built to connect with audiences, whether they're dedicated country fans or simply there for a great night of live music. Bio
Eve McKing is the country alter ego of Yvon Mocking. I am an energetic, versatile performer with a passion for powerful country songs. With 800+ live shows under my belt|(buckle), I know how to connect with diverse crowds. I've built a reputation as a captivating live performer, appearing at festivals and venues across the Netherlands. My career includes performances at Paaspop, Zwarte Cross, Tivoli and live appearances on Dutch National Radio.
Discovering Carrie Underwood in 2013 was the start of writing my own country songs and performing them at numerous venues and radio stations. I was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Dutch Country Music Awards and even got to perform my music live at Giel Beelens liveshow on Radio 3FM.
I love playing country music, but in that period the flat Dutch musical landscape simply wasn't ready for it. So in 2021 Eve McKing went M.I.A. and during the past few years, I realised that writing songs isn't what I'm passionate about. I am passionate about performing great songs and making sure that everyone at my show has a grand ole time. Combined with my love for country music and the progress I'm seeing in the popularity of the genre across Europe, I decided that it's time to bring Eve back.
So today, I bring all my experience to New Country Queens, celebrating the biggest female voices in modern country and ready to make the whole crowd sing along. I do this together with an amazing band.
